What's in ejó and why

💧 Distilled water: The base.
Every formula starts here. Purified, deionized water that helps distribute ingredients evenly so every spray does its job.

🛁 Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside:  The muscle
A plant-derived surfactant that lifts dirt, grease, and grime without being harsh. Sourced from coconut and sugar, it's non-toxic, skin-friendly, and leaves no residue.

🫧 Decyl Glucoside: The foaming action
Another coconut and sugar-derived surfactant that helps water spread evenly and boosts cleaning power. Effective and gentle, in equal measure.

💦 Propanediol: The smooth operator
A corn-derived solvent that keeps ingredients blending well and prevents streaking. It's also why our essential oils stay evenly distributed in every bottle.

🔗 Sodium Citrate: The water softener
Derived from citric acid found in citrus fruits, this balances pH and prevents mineral buildup from hard water a safe, biodegradable alternative to phosphates.

🍋 Citric Acid: The grime fighter
Naturally fermented from citrus fruits, it breaks down tough buildup and keeps our formulas at the right pH. A gentle but serious descaler.

🌾 Sodium Gluconate: The protector
Derived from glucose fermentation, this balances pH and protects metal surfaces from mineral buildup and corrosion. Hard-working and completely biodegradable.

🧼 Lactic Acid: The deep clean 
Derived from fermented plant-based sugars, it tackles soap scum, hard water stains, and grime with mild antimicrobial properties. Gentle on surfaces, tough on buildup.

🌱 Essential oils: The ahhh Pure plant extracts: Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Lavender, Tea Tree, and more. No synthetic fragrances, no phthalates. Just real scent that makes your home smell like calm like walking into a spa.

🛡️ Euxyl PE 9010: The freshness keeper A preservative made from Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin that prevents bacterial growth and keeps your cleaner effective from first spray to last. Biodegradable and needed in only the smallest amounts.

What you won't find in ejó. Ever.

❌ Phosphates: harmful to waterways and aquatic life
❌ Sulfates (SLS, SLES):  harsh, unnecessary, and out
❌ Parabens: linked to hormone disruption
❌ Phthalates: hiding in synthetic fragrances, not welcome here
